Our Story
El Nasr Gelatin was established in 1949 by a German company, utilizing advanced German technology and manufacturing expertise. This laid a strong industrial foundation and ensured high-quality standards from the very beginning.
In 1985, the company was transferred to the public sector in the Arab Republic of Egypt, where it continued to operate as a leading gelatin manufacturer in accordance with the highest industry standards.
In 2006, the company was acquired and transformed into a private sector entity, marking the beginning of a new phase in development and modernization. This transition focused on upgrading infrastructure and enhancing operational efficiency.
Over the past five years, El Nasr Gelatin has witnessed significant expansion through increased investments and the addition of new production lines, supporting its strategy to boost production capacity and meet the growing demands of both local and export markets.
These efforts culminated in the inauguration of a new high-capacity production line at the end of 2025, further reinforcing the company’s competitive position and solidifying its status as a leading player in the gelatin industry.
